In seventh grade I started practicing writing my signature really fast. I was preparing for the day when I'd be signing a lot of autographs. I can even remember the class room I was in when I made the break through where I swooped from the bottom of the letter "t" and came over the top of it and continued down into the letter "h." It was pure magic, and I've been "th"-ing that way ever since.

OMG! It's TC! Please give me your signature! I'm such a big fan of yours!
love, your starry-eyed little sis
I practiced my signature too, but I used my stage name, Taylor Madison (with a star instead of a dot for the "i"). In retrospect I can see it is a great porn name, especially with the star.
I only practiced my mother's signature. This came in very handy in high school.
Tony-C, you crack me up! I bet you were a very intersting kid.

I remember the breakthrough of changing from a cursive S to a regular S yet with a connected h. I actually stole it from my friend, Shannon. Throughout high school and college we'd planned to co-host a wildly successful Operah-like talk show. Secretly I planned to quit the show mid-season because I'd be starring in too many feature films and the demands of being a world-class movie star would have to come first. So many tough choices... sigh.

This post made me smile. So did the comments by your (our) starrey eyed little sister.
