This is what we are up against out here, tons of cheese, thick undercooked crust, toppings a mile high and bad service and yet some how these places remain open. It is a complete mystery. I think this picture makes it quite obvious why I spend so much time complaining about not being able to find a good slice west of NY. I shall say no more.

I call that a mess. There are alot of bad pizza joints around I must admit. But there are some good ones too.I can't say if NY pizza is the best because I have only had Portland's version of NY pizza. It seems to be an ongoing dilema. I do know my favorite pizza place "pizza roma" has not been so good the last couple tries.
I might be in search of a new favorite.
