TV

The new TV shows are back. It was nice to have TV free time in the summer and I hope to keep my TV viewing down to a minimum this year. It is such an easy trap.

It's trash night. I just complained about that one.

Ahhhhhh!

TV the big avoidance tool.

Someone in The Kid's class has a nut allergy. Therefore, no nuts allowed. What's up with this nut allergy crap.?I don't remember kids dropping like flies when I was in grade school. When did nuts become so dangerous.

What's with this new show "Uggly Betty" who the hell named that one. Couldn't you just call it "Betty?"

Oh, I have heard horror stories of having a child in your class with nut allergies. It can get ugly. They are not even supposed to breathe nut air. You watch, that mom is going to be trouble....
If the kid takes a peanut butter sandwich and sits by the allergy kid... it could be all over.
You will be an accomplice.

Nut Update. At lunch today when I saw dozens of children eating pbj's I asked Mrs. Wooten what gives. She said they found out the child is only allergic to tree nuts and the allergy is fortunately not severe. Whoohooo. Our household staple is back in action.

This year I'm only watching Lost, Grey's and Amazing Race. And maybe Survivor because I like the ethnic hook. Ugly Betty is a highly offensive title.

I am going to stick with Survivor (although by the time both rugrats are in bed, it's usually just the last half hour), ANTM (oh, if I had only been a foot taller, blond, and green eyes...), and football.

As for "Ugly Betty", my guess is they were trying to be clever, as a "Betty" is slang for a hottie, ergo an ugly betty must be funny since it is an oxymoron.

And Nuts. The world is filled with 'em.

A SOLID SUGGESTION;

Find a really dull night for Tv.
(Now, that shouldn't be too hard).

I have a Weblog. Go directly to
'History' Post. Ignore for the moment, all of the other 18 Posts.

You will find it to be the most interesting two pages you have read
in years! Then I'd appreciate your
thoughtful Comment. Record a first
name, and your town. reb
