It has been a slow month or so for the blog. Hey s*#t happens. I am closing on year number two of the blog and I'm giving myself a pat on the back for that.
The pictures below are from the morning out The Kid and I spent taking pictures. We have since bought her two more disposable cameras and she loves taking pictures. It's so enjoyable to see her make the decision process of shooting a picture. Sometimes it is a very quick decision with seemingly no regard for the subject and other times it seems like it is a very thoughtful moment that she's trying to capture.
I had two wonderful glasses of wine with dinner and it feels very good in my body.

you need to spend time with the big D developing her abliy to compose . I would have said you had a messy month
. Look to the stars. I'm told if you block your ears and flap your hands you can fly . the problem with this is you need to be standing in the middle of the street for it to work
Happy two years of blogging--I have to say it's been wonderful to be a reader and sometime commenter.
I'm glad D is exploring her creative side through composing pictures. The other day I was out walking the dog--it had just rained a lot and the creek that ran through our town was really overflowing and moving swiftly. I saw a thirteen or so year old girl walking away with her camera--ou could just tell from her expression that I had caught the end of a special photo shoot--it was cool to see her doing something she felt was important. Who knows what you're giving to D when you give her a camera!
love, Ka
I love the smashed pumpkins!! Great for the kid. Had a wonderful time with Pistol and the Madre. Pistol was sick. Germs Germs Germs- (and he borrowed my gloves and now they are lost).
Oh yeah, Pistol drank 1/2 pound of coffee over two days - along with his cups of tea. He and the Madre are quite the tea/coffee addicts.
